Al-Masry Al-Youm is offering an unpaid internship for students and graduates specializing in the graphic design field.
The intern would work with the Al-Masry Al-Youm team for two months to brainstorm, plan and design creative infographics, with the opportunity to work in both the newspaper's print edition and the website.
The internship is a part of the Al-Masry Al-Youm foundation’s interest in developing the skills of talented students and graduates, training them to be prepared for a highly competitive job market.
The applicant must not exceed the age of 25, be proficient in in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop, preferably have advanced proficiency in HTML and Flash, own a laptop and have a working fluency of Arabic. The intern should have strong typographical skills; be able to work in a fast, demanding and stressful environment; have a keen eye for appealing and interesting informational design as well as for page space; and have great communication and teamwork skills.

The deadline for submission is 22 March.
Candidates will be chosen according to the portfolio given following an interview. The internship program starts late March 2015.
