Doctors in Egypt save child’s life after saw slices abdomen

An Egyptian medical team successfully saved a child’s life from certain death after an electric saw sliced his abdomen.

The child left the operating room without any significant medical complications.

According to a statement from the Faculty of Medicine at Al-Azhar University in Damietta Governorate, the faculty confirmed a “medical achievement” after the pediatric surgery team successfully saved the child’s life.

The statement emphasized that there was no damage to the intestines or vital organs.

It noted that “the surgical intervention was extremely delicate… and resulted in saving the child’s life and bringing him back to health.”

The circumstances surrounding the electric saw penetrating the child’s body remain unclear, but gruesome images showcased the sharp blade of the saw embedded in the child’s abdomen.

The boy was shown lying on a hospital bed with his intestines protruding, precariously hovering between life and death.

The Faculty of Medicine statement considered this achievement “not just a successful surgical procedure, but a true testament to the competence of the medical staff.”
