Egypt to participate in information technology conference in Istanbul

Egypt will be taking part in the third Arab conference dubbed the Academic Technology Performance in Universities organized by the Arab Federation for Human Resources Development in Istanbul, Turkey, between 22 and 26 March 2015.
 
Thirty-seven colleges in 14 countries will participate in the event including Saudi Arabia, Bahria, UAE, Oman, Kuwait, Sudan Libya, Iraq, Yemen, Palestine, Jordan, Muritania, Turkey and Egypt.
 
The participation of these countries comes due to the importance of information technology in evaluating the academic performance, said Director General of the Arab Federation for Human Resources Development Ayman al-Gendy. 
 
The conference aims to develop a system, criteria and mechanisms of self-evaluation of academic programs so as to develop methods of collecting and documenting information and statistical data electronically and to guarantee the high quality of teaching materials in all university departments, he added.
