Egypt’s market gains LE1.1 bn on Monday, EGX30 rises 0.9%

Egypt's stock market closed in the green zone after a long Eid al-Adha holiday, as the benchmark EGX30 index on Monday rose 0.85 percent to 7,409.06 points, with a turnover of LE378 million, the Egyptian Exchange data showed.
 
The small- and mid-cap EGX70 index and the broader EGX100 index inched up 0.37 percent and 0.06 percent, respectively.
 
Arab and foreign institutions were net buyers recording net flows of LE12.7 million and LE15.6 million, respectively, while local institutions were net sellers recording net flows of LE6.5 million.
 
The EGX market gained LE1.1 billion (US$141million), hitting LE449.42 billion, compared to Tuesday's LE448.32 billion.
