Egypt’s market gains LE3.6 bn on Thursday, EGX30 rises 1.2%

Egypt's stock market extended its gains on Thursday, as the benchmark EGX30 index rose 1.23 percent to 7,541 points with a turnover of LE540million, the Egyptian Exchange data showed.
 
The small- and mid-cap EGX70 index and the broader EGX100 index increased 1.54 percent and 1 percent, respectively.
 
Foreign and Arab institutions were net sellers recording net flows of LE3 million and LE28.7 million respectively, while local institutions were net buyers recording net flows of LE72.4 million.
 
The EGX market gained LE3.62 billion (US$450 million), hitting LE452.31 billion, compared to Wednesday's LE448.69 billion.
