Egypt’s market loses $1.3 bn on Tuesday, fresh drop in oil prices

Egypt's market declined on Tuesday's session with EGX30 closing 2.35 percent down, due to a fresh fall in oil prices to 5.5-year lows.
 
Meanwhile, the EGX70 and EGX100 fell 1.73 percent and 1.21 percent respectively.
 
EGX market capital lost LE9.4 billion to hit LE493.69 billion compared to LE503.10 billion on Monday.
 
Brent crude fell close to USD$51 a barrel, its lowest since 2009, according to Reuters.
