Egypt’s market loses LE2.8 billion on Monday, EGX30 declines 0.9%

Egypt's market extended its loses on Monday's session, as the benchmark EGX30 index went down 0.87 percent, recording 8,087.54points and a turnover of LE445 million, the Egyptian Exchange data showed.

Meanwhile, the small and mid-cap EGX70 index and the broader EGX100 index declined 097 percent and 0.2 percent, respectively.  

Local ,Arab and foreign institutions were net buyers, recording net flows of LE17.7 million, LE7.7 million and LE5.8 million, respectively, while local and Arab retail were net sellers, recording net flows of LE13.5.million and LE17.9 million.

The EGX market capital lost LE2.83 billion (US$368 million), hitting LE493.66 billion, compared to LE496.49 billion on Sunday.
