EgyptAir: New instructions for ‘tourist visa’ to Saudi Arabia

EgyptAir announced on Saturday new instructions for obtaining a “tourist visa” upon arrival to the kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

EgyptAir’s statement stated: “It was decided to make it available to obtain a tourist visa upon arrival at one of the airports of Saudi Arabia for holders of permanent residence or tourist and commercial visas for the USA, the UK and the European Union (Schengen) countries.”

It added “This is provided that the visa is multiple, valid and has been used at least once to enter the country granting the visa.”

The statement indicated that the decision came in accordance with the instructions issued by the competent Saudi authorities, and was implemented starting Thursday.

The statement added: “This includes the accompanying relatives of the first degree (husband / wife – parents – children) according to the following: the entry age for children at Dammam Airport is under 21 years, the entry age for children at Riyadh – Jeddah – Medina – Qassim airports is under 18 years old.”
