EgyptAir has officially contracted the purchase of 34 new, state-of-the-art aircraft to be delivered gradually through 2030. The acquisition is a cornerstone of the national carrier’s fleet modernization strategy, aimed at enhancing service quality and passenger comfort.
Key objectives of the expansion plan include bolstering operations across existing flight routes, tapping into new markets, and launching new international destinations.
Additionally, the fleet expansion will increase overall passenger capacity to keep pace with the continuous growth of travel traffic across Egyptian airports.
Looking ahead, the company aims to expand its total fleet size to 125 aircraft by 2030, with a long-term target of reaching approximately 200 aircraft by 2035.
