An Egyptian worker died and three others were wounded Thursday after a house collapsed in the Basateen neighborhood of Cairo.
Three ambulances and a number of security officers moved to the site of the incident where the worker's body was pulled up from the house's rubble.
The injured were transferred to nearby Basateen Hospital and the public prosecution has begun investigations into the collapse.
A preliminary investigation revealed that the house was under construction and that its owner had obtained a license to build a factory, not a house. The public prosecution has summoned the owner for questioning.
