Egypt’s Dar al-Ifta has announced the upcoming sighting of the crescent moon for the upcoming holy month of Ramadan.
In an official statement, the Dar al-Ifta said: “We are now just one week away from Ramadan. By God’s will, the sighting of the crescent moon will take place next Tuesday.”
“Prepare your hearts to welcome this blessed guest. May Allah allow us and you to reach the month and grant us the strength for fasting and night prayers.”
Dar al-Ifta further clarified: “The official announcement regarding the crescent sighting and our celebration of the arrival of Ramadan will be broadcast live on our page. Stay tuned.”
