Every bridge or power plant in Iran will be destroyed by deadline, Trump warns

US President Donald Trump has threatened that every bridge or power plant in Iran will be destroyed by the deadline he set out without an agreement.

Trump asserted that America’s deterrent system is capable of “obliterating Iran in one night,” and that this night could be “tomorrow night” if the Iranian leadership does not come to its senses.

Trump added that the US was celebrating the success of one of the “largest combat search operations” in military history.

He described the mission to rescue two American soldiers from inside Iranian territory as one of the “most complex and dangerous” operations ever, in which the participating forces faced intense fire at very close range after penetrating “enemy territory.”

Trump revealed technical details of the operation, noting the use of a “military deception” strategy by deploying forces in seven different locations to distract Iranian defenses.

He explained that the evacuation of the second soldier was carried out by two H-860 Jolly Green helicopters, aircraft specifically designed for deep-sea rescue operations in conflict zones.

The US president confirmed that the rescue operation involved a strike force of 155 aircraft, including four bombers, 64 fighters, and 48 aerial refueling tankers.
