Fire breaks out in Alexandria cafe, no casualties reported

A massive fire broke out on Thursday in a cafe and facilities within Alexandria city, with no information reported about any casualties or injuries so far.

Civil defense forces dispatched fire trucks to control the fire before it could spread to neighboring properties.

The Raml Police Department received a report from the Emergency Police Department stating that a fire had broken out in a cafe and facilities on the Corniche Road in the Saba Pasha area.

Officers from the department’s investigations department and civil defense forces rushed to the scene of the incident.

Examinations revealed that a massive fire had broken out in a cafe and wooden facilities inside the Pharmacists’ Club, which resulted in their burning.

An initial inspection showed that an electrical short circuit caused the accident.
