Five people discharged from Taba hospital following strike, 1 in critical condition: Medical source

A medical source from the Directorate of Health in South Sinai announced that five people injured by a rocket that struck Taba, South Sinai on Friday morning have been discharged from Taba Hospital after receiving the necessary treatment.

The source added that one of the injured was transferred to Sharm El Sheikh Hospital due to his critical health condition, as he suffered a tear in his right hand and fractures in his shoulder.

The Ministry of Health issued a statement earlier today explaining that 10 equipped ambulances were dispatched to the site of the fall of an explosive object in the early hours of this Friday morning, inside the city of Taba, in the vicinity of the administrative housing for workers at the hospital and ambulance in South Sinai governorate.

The ministry explained that the ambulances transferred six injured to Taba Central Hospital, and all the injuries were minor.

Five people left the hospital after receiving treatment, with the remainder expected to be discharged within the coming hours and followed-up on.
