Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf denied on Monday evening that any talks had taken place between his country and the United States.
Writing on the X platform, Ghalibaf stated: “The Iranian people demand the severest penalties for the aggressors, and all Iranian officials stand united behind their Supreme Leader to achieve this goal.”
Ghalibaf further added: “No negotiations have been conducted with the United States. Fabricated news is being utilized to manipulate financial and oil markets and to escape the strategic deadlock currently facing the United States and Israel.”
This statement serves as a direct rebuttal to President Donald Trump’s claims earlier regarding “productive conversations” and a potential 15-point peace plan.
