The Irrigation Ministry has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the European Union related to the joint systematic integration sector in the areas of water management and agriculture, the Egypt State Information Service (SIS) said in a statement Monday.
Water Resources and Irrigation Minister Hossam Moghazi signed the MoU with the European Union Ambassador to Cairo on the sidelines of a workshop for supporting the national plan for water and irrigation resources, the agency added.
Moghazi said the MoU aims to provide technical and financial support to improve the water resources management system in Egypt.
