Israel bombs Tawbah Mosque in Gaza

Israeli army planes bombed the Tawbah Mosque at the Jabalia refugee camp in the northern Gaza Strip, according to the Gaza Interior Ministry on Saturday.

The Ministry of Endowments in Gaza announced that the Israeli army has completely destroyed 26 mosques since the start of the assault on the Gaza Strip.

Israel also targeted the Greek Orthodox Church of St. Porphyrius – the third oldest church in the world – in Gaza City on Thursday.

The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced on Friday that 16 Christians had been killed in a church bombing incident.

Media reports revealed that the Greek Orthodox Church was sheltered by a large number of Christian and Muslim families.

The Ministry of Interior in Gaza confirmed that a collapse occurred in a church building as a result of the Israeli raids.

The bombing also caused injuries among the displaced.
