Palestinian factions release American hostages

Palestinian factions on Friday announced the release of two American hostages.

Al-Qassam Brigades spokesperson Abu-Ubaida said: “In response to Qatari efforts, we released two American detainees for humanitarian reasons.”

Through the Qassam Brigades’ channel on Telegram, Abu-Ubaida revealed that the process of releasing the two American detainees, “a mother and her daughter,” came to prove “to the American people and the world that the allegations made by Biden and his administration are false and have no basis.”

The Israeli occupation army previously announced that “the number of detainees has reached about 200 hostages” in Gaza, while Hamas says that it has “between 200 and 250 prisoners,” including foreign nationals.
