Report reveals details of Mohamed Salah’s contract with Besiktas

French newspaper report revealed that Egyptian star Mohamed Salah is close to joining Turkish club Besiktas during the current summer transfer window, after reaching a verbal agreement between the two parties.

According to the French newspaper Foot Mercato, negotiations between Salah and the Besiktas management have reached their final stages.

The Egyptian national team captain is expected to sign a one-year contract, including an option for both parties to extend for an additional season.

The report added that Salah will receive an annual salary of €10 million, in addition to two million euros in bonuses and incentives linked to his performance with the team.

The newspaper confirmed that Salah’s move to Besiktas is imminent, pending the completion of official procedures before the deal is officially announced.

Salah ended his contract with Liverpool FC at the end of last season after nine years at Anfield, with uncertainty surrounding the future of the Egyptian national team captain.
