Security forces open fire on pro-Morsy protesters

The army opened fire on Wednesday on supporters of deposed President Mohamed Morsy, who were trying to join a sit-in in Cairo which was attacked by security forces, according to our reporters. Reuters sources also confirmed a similar account.

Our reporter said he witnessed at least 15 people injured in different parts of their body. Twenty people were confirmed dead by our reporter on site. Morsy's supporters had been throwing stones and petrol bombs at Egyptian troops.
