The initial toll of the Al-Fakhoura School massacre reaches 12 dead and 54 injured

The Palestinian Health Ministry in Gaza announced the initial toll of the massacre committed by the Israeli occupation army after it shelled the Al-Fakhoura school in the Jabalia refugee camp as 12 dead and 54 injured.

The spokesperson for the Gaza Health Ministry said this toll is still preliminary, as the cases that were admitted to the Indonesian hospital continue to be counted.

The Gaza Strip witnessed yet another massacre on Saturday morning as Israeli aircraft targeted the Fakhurah school, which houses thousands of displaced people in the Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza.

This massacre came hours after the targeting of a school housing displaced people in northern Gaza, which killed more than 20 people, including children, in addition to dozens of wounded.

These schools are affiliated with UNRWA.

Schools and hospitals in the Gaza Strip have become direct targets for the Israeli occupation, under the pretext of the existence of tunnels belonging to the Hamas movement underneath them – which Israel has not yet proven.

These schools and hospitals house thousands of displaced people who take refuge, which only increases the number of victims with every attack that targets them.

This includes the bombing of the Baptist Evangelical Hospital killing nearly 500 people.
