US President Donald Trump said that hostages will be exchanged simultaneously with the ceasefire in Gaza Strip, AlQahera News channel reported on Friday.
Trump confirmed that Israel has agreed to the initial withdrawal line presented to Hamas.
The US President expressed optimism about the possibility of reaching an agreement to release the detainees and end the war on Gaza Strip.
He emphasized during an interview with Israel’s Channel 12 that Hamas has come a long way and says they now want peace.
This is Trump’s second announcement, following a surprise statement in the first minutes of Saturday.
The US president had asked Israel to stop bombing the Gaza Strip in response to Hamas’s statement announcing its intention to release the hostages in accordance with the Trump Gaza plan.
