UAE allows vaccinated travelers to apply for UAE tourist visas

The Manpower Minister Mohamed Saafan received a report from the Ministry’s Labor Representation Office at the Egyptian embassy in Abu Dhabi stating that the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship and the National Emergency Crisis and Disasters Management Authority started receiving applications for tourist visas from all countries provided that applicants have received full doses of  COVID-19 vaccines approved by the World Health Organization as of August 30.

The decision includes countries from which entry was previously prohibited, Labor Attaché and head of the Labor Representation Office in Abu Dhabi Hanan Shaheen said.

A rapid PCR examination is required at the airport upon arrival, provided that the previous requirements remain valid for non-vaccinated groups, including the excluded non-vaccinated groups.

She explained that vaccination certificates can be officially registered for travelers wishing to enjoy the advantages obtained by vaccinated travelers heading to the UAE, through the platform of the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship and the Alhosn UAE app.
