UN Women, ENACTUS organize competition for anti-violence projects

UN Women and world entrepreneurship development organization ENACTUS organized on May 11 in Cairo a second competition for projects aimed at combating violence against women.
 
The organizations said competitors were drawn from 27 Egyptian universities who submitted projects on social entrepreneurship that are focused on women empowerment
 
Participants had attended in workshops on leadership, communication skills and the organization of awareness campaigns that are meant to enhance their understanding of women issues in Egypt.
 
Arbitrators include for the first time civil society experts as well as young anti-sexual harassment activists.
