Up to 130,000 liters of diesel and 4 gas trucks to be delivered daily to Gaza

Egypt announced that 130,000 liters of diesel and four gas trucks will be delivered daily to Gaza after the start of a four-day truce on Friday.

This follows after fuel trucks and humanitarian aid began entering this morning to the Gaza Strip through the Rafah land crossing under the supervision of the United Nations and the Egyptian authorities – in accordance with the temporary humanitarian truce agreement between Israel and the Palestinian resistance factions, which entered into force after joint Egyptian, Qatari and American efforts.

Two-hundred loaded trucks are agreed to enter daily with food supplies, medicines and water – the first time since the start of the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip about fifty days ago.

The Emirati field hospital is also preparing to enter the Gaza Strip on Friday through the Rafah crossing from the Egyptian side, according to media reports.

The head of the State Information Service stated that, in conjunction with the entry into force of the truce, Egypt will continue to receive groups of wounded and injured children from Gaza for treatment.

It will also receive foreigners and dual nationalities from the Gaza Strip and facilitate their travel to the countries of which they hold nationalities.
