Russia’s defense sector is preparing a major technology showcase for the Egypt International Airshow 2026, where state giant Rostec will premiere its export-grade Su-57E fifth-generation stealth fighter equipped with a previously unseen armaments package, TASS reported.
The upcoming event, scheduled for September 8–10 in El Alamein, will serve as the launchpad for the updated Su-57E variant.
Beyond static displays of its newly integrated weapons systems—which have yet to be publicly exhibited inside or outside Russia—the aircraft is slated to perform live aerial demonstrations during the expo.
In tandem with the fighter jet’s debut, Rostec subsidiary High Precision Systems will stage the first foreign demonstration of the “Bison” anti-drone system.
Engineered to intercept and neutralize low-altitude aerial threats and unmanned vehicles, the system will be featured as a core component of Moscow’s defensive systems export portfolio.
