
Renowned Egyptian film critic Tarek Al-Shenawy praised the new film “Feha Eh Yaani” (What’s the Big Deal), calling it a distinct and courageous cinematic experience that reflects the beauty of refined filmmaking.
Al-Shenawy wrote on his official Facebook page: “Feha Eh Yaani” is a different, bold, and deep Egyptian film. It will make you cry, delight you, and make you laugh. It stars Magued Al-Kedwany, Ghada Adel, Asmaa Galal, and Moustafa Gharib.”
He added: “This is the directorial debut of Omar Roshdy Hamed. This is what beautiful, sophisticated cinema looks like. The film deserved the audience’s applause at the end of the screening.”
This romantic comedy explores the idea that love can knock on your door at any time, regardless of age. It follows a retired accountant who rekindles a long-lost love with a woman after they unexpectedly cross paths again years later.
The film is produced by Ahmed al-Genaidy, Tamer Morsy, and Mohamed Rashidi. It is written by Mostafa Abbas, Mohamed Ashraf, and Waleed al-Maghazy.
