Alexandria and Dekheila seaports closed due to bad weather

The Alexandria Seaport Authority decided on Tuesday to halt navigation at the Alexandria and Dekheila seaports due to bad weather and high winds.

Major General Abdel Qader Darwish, head of the authority, said the seaports have been closed to prevent ships from hitting each other or the platforms, as well as to maintain maritime navigation safety.

Alexandria is currently facing two storms that are usually accompanied by rains and eastern winds lasting for approximately six days.
