One conscript and a citizen were killed and another conscript soldier was injured when a bomb exploded on Friday in Arish city, North Sinai. The bomb went off on al-Bahr street while security troops were passing the location of the planted explosive, the Interior Ministry’s information center declared.
In a statement on Friday the ministry said, “the blast caused the death of conscript Abdel Rahman Mohamed abdel Galeel and citizen Mohamed Ali Khweiter and the injury of conscript Essam Gamal Emam.”
The injured conscript soldier was transferred to hospital for treatment. Security troops are combing the area for other bombs. Legal measures were taken.
