‘Layali al-Helmiya’ sequel back in Ramadan after 21-year absence

The landmark series "Layali al-Helmiya" (The Nights of Helmiya), a 1987 drama production, will see its sixth sequel screened during the holy Islamic month of Ramadan in 2016.
 
The series, which saw its last sequel in 1995, will feature the same stars after 21 years, including Mamdouh Abdel Alim, Ilham Shahin, Safiya al-Emari, Luci and Hesham Selim.
 
This newest production will be directed by renowned director Magdy Abu Emeira.
