The north coast of Egypt can expect mild weather on Friday, with Alexandria set for a high of 31 degrees centigrade.
However, Cairo will still be hot, with a high of 39 degrees, and much of the rest of the country hotter still.
The coastal cities of Hurghada and Sharm el-Sheikh will reach 42 and 41 respectively. Meanwhile, in the south, both Luxor and Aswan are expected to touch 44 degrees.
Visibility will be reduced in the morning due to fog on northern coasts, the Delta, Cairo and the canal provinces. Upper Egypt and the Gulf of Suez will see a northwesterly wind, which will disturb maritime navigation.
On the Mediterranean, waves will range between 1 to 2 meters, while the Red Sea will see waves of 1.5 to 2 meters. There will be a northwesterly wind on both seas.
