The British Daily Mail published a series of photographs of the American star Lindsay Lohan where the actress, who recently announced her conversion to Islam, appeared in a black-and-red Burkini on a beach in Thailand.
Lohan said she was in Thailand to study Islam.
In an earlier statement, Lohan had said that she was influenced by Saudi friends, upon which she converted to Islam.
She recently published a photo on Instagram that showed her legs and wrote in Arabic: "Do not judge people by appearances."
The pop singer and actress caused a storm of controversy on social media when she chose to omit all the photos and posts on her official Instagram and Twitter accounts, and wrote "Alaikum salam" in her instagram account's biography, a greeting that translates to "and peace unto you."
Many Arab fans predicted that Lohan had converted to Islam. A close friend to Lohan though, told MySa website at the time that what Lohan had actually done was just a sort of change that she tends to do.
During a visit to Turkey, Lohan appeared in photos with a headscarf and a Quran in her hand.
