Temperatures expected to decline on Thursday, 25C in Cairo

Temperatures are expected to decline on Thursday across most parts, according to meteorologists. Highs of 25C will be felt in Cairo and 21C in Alexandria.

Mild weather will prevail in the north. Low- and medium-level clouds will be seen above most parts to be accompanied by heavy rains in some parts.

Mediterranean waves will be 1.5-2 meters in height with northwestern winds prevailing, while Red Sea waves will be 2-2.5 meters, with southeastern winds blowing across.

Hot weather will be felt in Upper Egypt during the daytime, to fall to cooler temperatures overnight.

Highs of 31C will be reached in Qena, 33C in Luxor and 37C in Aswan.

Northwestern winds will whip up sand and dust in the south.
