Thursday’s cold weather milder in Upper Egypt

Cold weather will continue across the north of Egypt on Thursday, according to meteorologists.

Low- and medium-level clouds will be seen in the northern coasts.

Highs of 18 degrees centigrade will be reached in Cairo and 17 degrees in Alexandria.

Moderate northeasterly winds will blow west of the Mediterranean sea, disturbing maritime navigation.

The predicted height of Mediterranean waves and the Red Sea waves will reach between two to 2.5 meters, with surface westerly winds expected on the Mediterranean and northwesterly winds expected on the Red Sea.

As for Upper Egypt, mild weather will be felt during the daytime, turning extremely cold during the night.

Highs of 20 degrees will be reached in Qena, 21 degrees in Luxor and 22 degrees in Aswan.
