Family members of a first grade student are suspected of murdering his school principal and an administrator Wednesday morning in Luxor after accusing the administrator of raping the boy.

Luxor police received reports of the two dead bodies at the Wehda primary school in Zeiniya, in the northern part of the city.

Investigators said two individuals had asked to speak to the principal and the administrator at the beginning of the school day and went into a room to talk. When they exited the room without the two school officials, other employees went to check on them and found their bodies. The administrator's genitals had been mutilated.

Investigations identified the suspects as the student’s father and brother and alleged they had gone to confront the two officials about the administrator's alleged sexual assault on the boy. The father and brother murdered both men when the principal defended his colleague against the accusation, investigators said.

Security forces have cordoned the school off while investigating the incident.
