Cold weather will prevail across most parts of the country on Friday, according to meteorologists.
Low- and medium-level clouds will be seen in the north and in Sinai, accompanied occasionally by some rain showers. Moderate northwestern winds will blow across the Suez Gulf and the Red Sea, which will disturb maritime navigation.
Northwesterlies will cause waves in the Mediterranean and Red seas to reach 2-2.5 meters in height.
Highs of 17C are predicted for Cairo and 16C for Alexandria; while, in Upper Egypt, highs of 18C will be reached in Qena and 19C in Luxor and Aswan.
