Warm weather expected for Saturday, Cairo 24C

Meteorologists expect a slight drop in temperatures in the northern parts of Egypt, however warm weather is expected across most of the country on Saturday, with cold temperatures in all regions throughout the night.

Mist will affect visibility on Saturday morning in different parts of the north and will be dense in some areas.

Low and medium level cloud cover is predicted for the North Coast, South Sinai and Lower Egypt, accompanied by rainfall in western regions.

Winds are anticipated to be moderate and mostly southwesterly in the northern parts of the country, potentially blowing up dust and sand over the western parts, and possibly on Lower Egypt and Cairo. Winds may disrupting maritime navigation in the Mediterranean Sea.

Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be strong and range between 2.5 to 3 meters with southeasterly surface winds, while waves in the Red Sea will be moderate and range between 2 to 2.5 meters, with southeasterly surface winds.

Maximum temperatures predicted for the following cities are as follows: 24C in Cairo, 20C in Alexandria, 28C in Qena, 29C in Luxor, and 31C in Aswan.
