Hot weather is expected to resume on Wednesday on northern coasts, in the Nile Delta and in Cairo, according to meteorologists.
Visibility will be reduced due to mist in the morning to the north. Moderate northwesterlies will blow on South Sinai, the Gulf of Suez and the Red Sea, which will disturb maritime navigation.
Highs of 37 degrees centigrade will be reached in Cairo and 31 degrees in Alexandria.
Those northwesterlies will make the height of Mediterranean waves reach between one to 1.5 meters; while the height of the Red Sea waves will reach between two to 2.5 meters.
Extremely hot weather will be felt in Upper Egypt during the daytime. Highs of 43 degrees will be reached in Qena and Aswan, 44 degrees in Luxor.
