11 MB leaders released by court order

A Cairo Court on Monday ordered the release of Osama Nasr Eddin, member of the Muslim Brotherhood (MB) opposition movement’s Guidance Bureau, along with ten other group members in Beheira.

The men were arrested last February on charges of “affiliation with a banned group.”

MB lawyer Abdel Moneim Abdel Maqsoud lauded the court order.

“My clients are more concerned about Egypt’s security and stability than the authorities realize,” he said, noting that the recent court orders served to confirm the group’s legitimacy and the injustices it  faced.
