17 police officers injured in road accident in Hurghada, 14 in stable condition

Seventeen police officers were injured in a accident on Wednesday when a car hit their bus, causing it to overturn on Hurghada Airport road as they were on way to their work at the airport security department, according to a source from the Red Sea Security Department.

14 of the officers are in a stable condition, while three others are under medical observation, the source added. Security officials headed to the hospital to confirm their health conditions.

Doctor Badawi Saeed, head of the ambulance department, said 10 ambulances went to the site of the accident and transferred the injured to Hurghada Public Hospital and another hospital for treatment.
