390 kg of gold to be shipped to Canada

The cargo village at the Cairo airport received 390 kg of gold from the Sukari gold mine on Saturday. It will be shipped to Canada and sold on international stock exchanges.
 
The consignment arrived on the private airliner Alkan, accompanied by five officials of the Australian Centamin company, the owner of the mine that will share the revenues with the Egyptian government. It was transferred to the village by armored vehicle belonging to the Amanco company amid tight security.
