Prosecutor of Ismailia referred two policemen belonging to Isamilia Security Directorate to the criminal court over charges of attempting to suspend work using force and arms after a decision to transfer them from their place of work has been issued.
According to investigations, both Tamer A., 37, and Mohamed M., 29, who belonged to the the force that secured roads in Ismailia have intentionally harmed the interests of citizens and put their life at risk in last January, after they prevented the patrol from carrying out its duties on desert roads.
Both defendants insulted and threatened the police officers to intimidate them, violating law.
