Egypt's ambassador to Israel Atef Salem has been summoned to Cairo in November 2012 with the start of the Israeli “Cast Lead” aggression on the Gaza Strip.
Meanwhile, Israel appointed Haim Koren as its new ambassador to Cairo three months ago.
