The Jesuites Cinema Club is showing the Italian film Il “Postino”, known worldwide by “The Postman”, next Saturday at 6 pm.
The film, which was produced in 1994 and directed by Michael Radford, was awarded an Oscar and 28 other international awards.
It is a love story between a postman and the most beautiful girl of the city. The postman sends her excerpts from the poetry of Chilean poet Pablo Neruda to win her heart.
The film is in Italian, with Arabic subtitles.
