
Three people were killed and two others were injured from the Qatari delegation participating in the Gaza ceasefire negotiations in a car rollover accident while traveling on a main road in South Sinai, Egypt.
Authorities in South Sinai received a report of a car rollover accident on the El-Tor/ Sharm El-Sheikh road, near kilometer 50 between Sharm El-Sheikh and El-Tor.
The accident resulted in the deaths of Abdullah Ghanem Seif, 40, Hassan Al-Jaber, 52, and Saud Bin Thamer, 45.
The accident also resulted in injuries to Abdullah Issa Al-Kawali, 35, with a suspected skull fracture and an open fracture to his right foot Mohammed Abdulaziz Bouanin, 31, with a suspected spinal fracture; and Yahya Shawqi, a 40-year-old Egyptian, the driver of the vehicle, with two lacerations to his head and hand.
The bodies were transferred to the morgue of Sharm El-Sheikh International Hospital at the disposal of the Public Prosecution.
The injured were transferred to the hospital for treatment. The relevant authorities were notified of the accident.
