Trump says US funded Ethiopia’s dam on the Nile River – adds he doesn’t know why

US President Donald Trump said that Ethiopia built a dam on the Nile River funded by the US, adding that he doesn’t know why his country did so.

Trump confirmed that he intervened in the Ethiopian dam crisis to help resolve it, according to AlQahera News Channel.

In a speech marking the first anniversary of his second presidential term, Trump added, “We succeeded in eliminating Iran’s nuclear capabilities, and I ended eight endless wars.”

He also remarked, “We can change the name of the Gulf of Mexico to Trump Gulf; it’s not too late,” noting that the US will soon begin cracking down on drugs coming by land.

Trump said that “the interim president of Venezuela has done a fantastic job. I currently like Venezuela, and they are working very well with us. The interim president is excellent. One of the reasons I’m taking such a strong stance against Venezuela is because they’re opening the prisons and encouraging immigrants to come to the US.”

He also mentioned that oil companies are preparing to make massive investments in Venezuela.
