Composer Aziz al-Shafei revealed details of his latest collaboration on with singer Sherine Abdel-Wahab – in a move eagerly awaited by her fans after absence.
Shafei shared a photo on his official Facebook page showing papers containing a portion of the upcoming song’s lyrics, captioned “Sherine… Ayza Ashtiki (I want to complain).”
This collaboration comes as part of Sherine’s preparations for the upcoming release of a new album, marking her return to the music scene after a period of absence, amidst great anticipation from her fans.
Shafei has previously shared a video on social media from inside the studio, in which he addressed Sherine’s fans, saying, “I know you missed her so much, and she missed you so, so much too.”
The video marked Sherine’s first appearance after a period of absence, showing her recording her new song, her comeback to her fans.
She also revealed a snippet of the song, titled “Ayza Ashtiki wa Ashki” (I Want to Complain).
