Seven people were killed and 18 were wounded on Monday in two Israeli airstrikes on southern Lebanon.
A statement from the Lebanese Ministry of Health’s Emergency Operations Center said that an Israeli airstrike on the city of Tyre, near a Red Cross center, resulted in five deaths and eight injuries, including four Red Cross paramedics.
Another Israeli airstrike on the town of Marwaniyeh, in the Sidon district, killed two people, one of whom was a child, and wounded 10 others including four women, according to the statement.
Tuesday saw seven people killed and eight others wounded in an Israeli airstrike on the town of Zifta in the Nabatieh district of southern Lebanon.
The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced that the death toll from the Israel’s assault against Lebanon since March has risen to 3,637, with 11,188 wounded.
