Amina Orfi wins London Squash Classic championship

Egyptian squash champion Amina Orfi won the London Squash Classic championship on Sunday after defeating England’s Georgina Kennedy in the final.

Orfi defeated Kennedy 3-0 in the final – scoring 11-6, 11-8, and 11-2.

The tournament featured an array of top Egyptian squash players, including world number one Hania al-Hammamy, world number two Amina Orfi (the defending champion), Salma Hany, Farida Mohamed, Sana Ibrahim, Zeina Mekkiwy, Mariam Metwally, Nardine Gerges, Hana Ramadan, and Nour Heikal.

Several Egyptian players also participated in the men’s competition, including Ali Aboul-Enein, Youssef Soliman, Mohamed Abouelghar, Karim al-Torky, and Mostafa el-Sirty, facing stiff competition from some of the world’s best players.
