All you need to know about the 1st Egyptian documentary channel

The United Media Services Company launched the Egyptian documentary channel (al-Wathaeqya) on Sunday at 8:00 pm on the Nilesat satellite, the first of its kind in Egypt.

Al-Masry Al-Youm presents the frequency of the channel on Nilesat, and the six most important facts about it:

Frequency: 12303.

Coding rate: 27500.

Polarization: horizontal.

Satellite: Nilesat.

 

Six things you need to know

1- Is broadcast by the United Media Services Company

2- The first channel of its kind in Egypt.

3- Journalist Sherif Saeed heads the channel, while journalist Ahmed al-Deriny heads the documentary production sector in the UMS.

Opening with a bang

During a telephone interview on the AlHayah channel on Tuesday, Saeed said that the launch of the channel will witness the presentation of a very important interview.

In another interview on the DMC satellite channel, he said that the channel will show the interview that was filmed with a leader in ISIS, which consists of three parts going through the phases and beliefs he underwent.
